Continuous dewatering along the forming table of Fourdrinier machines creates a line where the transition of the stock suspension from wet to dry can be observed: the so-called wet line or dry line. LineVision is THE tool for analyzing the position of the wet line in real time. This is essential to achieve the highest paper quality and runnability. If the wet line reaches the combining roll, where two plies meet, it can adversely affect paper quality (bonding of the plies, strength, etc.). On the other hand, running the wet line too close to the headbox will reduce paper quality.
YOUR BENEFITS
Continuous analysis of the wet line’s position in real-time from the operator station.
Alarms if wet line is not at the right spot or spikes occur.
Protect your critical wire section positions (turning, bonding points, etc.).
Indication of actual wet line position and trend in any DCS.
Stabilized wet line position through IBS vacuum valves.
Superior image quality
Our cutting-edge machine vision solutions deliver exceptional image quality, helping you maximize product quality and production efficiency.

Installation and service
Installation, maintenance, and repair services on machines monitoring stock and paper formation during the paper making process are offered and provided by IBS and Papertech under the LineVision™ trademark.
